This spring, join us for an unforgettable eight-night culinary journey through Paris and Normandie at the height of fraise (strawberry) and fromage (cheese) season. Over nine delicious days, you’ll bake, taste, explore, and savor France in the most meaningful way—through its iconic springtime flavors and regional traditions.
Your adventure begins in Paris, where the city’s patisseries and markets overflow with ruby-red strawberries. After settling into the chic Le Grand Mazarin in the heart of Le Marais, you’ll dive straight into the sweet side of the city with a bakery tour and hands-on classes at La Cuisine Paris. From perfecting the elegant Fraisier cake to crafting Tartelette aux Fraises, you’ll celebrate the season’s star ingredient in all its forms, ending with a guided tasting of artisanal goat cheese. With a balance of group time and free time, you can wander Parisian markets, browse boutiques, and discover the city’s best culinary gems at your own pace.
Midweek, we’ll journey into the rolling countryside of Normandie—France’s dairy paradise—where lush pastures produce some of the world’s most beloved fromages. You’ll settle into the historic Château d’Audrieu, enjoy cider and Calvados tasting, and choose between a private D-Day landing beaches tour or a stroll through the medieval charm of Bayeux. Throughout your stay, seasonal butter-rich specialties and local baking will take center stage.
Our second Norman home, the storied Ferme Saint Siméon in Honfleur, invites you deeper into the region that inspired Impressionist masters. Along the way, you’ll experience a behind-the-scenes cheese tour and tasting, indulge in a seaside visit to Deauville, and browse Honfleur’s vibrant Saturday market—overflowing with spring produce, handcrafted goods, and regional treats. A special baking session with pastry chef Ségo Dalsace brings Norman cuisine to life in an intimate, hands-on way.
Finally, we return to Paris for one last celebratory evening: a private cruise along the Seine, where we’ll toast the flavors, friendships, and memories gathered throughout the week.
From the first bite of fraise to the final taste of exquisite fromage, this retreat is a celebration of France’s spring bounty—crafted for bakers who believe the season is best savored one delicious moment at a time.
Some special retreat inclusions to note: roundtrip private car service to/from Charles du Gualle airport, a 200€ per person food and beverage credit at Ferme Saint Siméon, and the option to upgrade your hotel stays.
This retreat is limited to just 16 guests and offers a rare opportunity to experience France through the lens of baking, culture, and connection.
