By purchasing, receiving, or using this digital gift card, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
General Terms
This digital gift card may be redeemed only for merchandise from Bake from Scratch. This digital gift card may not be redeemed at events or for magazine subscriptions and digital copies. This card is not redeemable for cash except as required by law. The card cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged for cash (except in states where required by law).
Card Value and Usage
The value of this gift card will not be replaced if the card code is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without your permission. Treat this gift card like cash. We are not responsible for unauthorized use of your gift card. The gift card is not a credit or debit card and has no implied warranties. No credit or interest will accrue on the unused balance.
Expiration and Fees
Under federal law, the funds on this gift card will not expire for at least five years from the date of purchase or the date funds were last added to the card. The gift card code may expire, but if it does, you may contact us for a replacement code at no charge, provided the underlying funds have not expired.
Lost, Stolen, or Unauthorized Use
Gift cards are similar to cash, and there typically is no recourse for consumers when a gift card is stolen or used without authorization. We are not responsible for replacing the value of lost or stolen gift cards unless you have registered your card and can provide proof of purchase. A replacement fee may apply for lost or stolen cards.
To protect yourself, we recommend:
- Treating your gift card code like cash
- Registering your card when possible
- Keeping your purchase receipt and gift card code in a safe place
- Using your gift card promptly after receipt
If your gift card is lost or stolen, contact us immediately at customerservice@hoffmanmedia.com. We may be able to deactivate the card and issue a replacement if you can provide the original card number and proof of purchase. Replacement cards may be subject to a fee.
Refunds and Returns
Gift card purchases are final. We do not provide refunds or allow returns on gift cards except as required by state law.
When you return merchandise purchased with this gift card, the refund will be credited back to the gift card (if available) or provided as store credit in accordance with our standard return policy. Please notify us about any returned merchandise at customerservice@hoffmanmedia.com so that we can issue a refund.
Balance Inquiries
You may check your gift card balance by contacting customerservice@hoffmanmedia.com. Balance inquiries do not constitute card activity for purposes of expiration or fee assessment.
Fraud Protection
Gift cards are a common target for scammers. Please be aware:
- We will never ask you to purchase gift cards as payment for bills, taxes, or government fees
- Do not share your gift card code with anyone who contacts you unexpectedly
- If you believe you’ve been the victim of a gift card scam, contact us immediately and report it to local law enforcement and the Federal Trade Commission

Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of the gift card after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
