For those interested in enjoying a few additional days in Provence, we’re offering an add-on brocante experience.
Add-On Brocante Experience Friday, September 27—Monday, September 30
If you’ve spent any time with Brian Hart Hoffman and Brooke Bell, you know they love to brocante for French copper, culinary antiques, silver, and more. Brocantes are fabulous, French antique markets where individuals sell their wares in the streets on designated days. During this three-day, three-night experience, you’ll shop alongside them at some of their favorite brocantes in Provence. Visit Villeneuve in Avignon on Saturday, and then experience picturesque Egylieres and L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue on Sunday. If you’ve never brocanted before, they’ll offer their best tips for negotiating prices, getting your treasures home, and what to look for when buying certain pieces like French copper. This package will include accommodations for three nights, transportation to/from brocantes, and a group dinner. You will be responsible for getting yourself to the airport or your next destination on Monday, September 30. Participation in the brocante weekend is only open to registered retreat guests. The price for the add-on experience will be based on the number of participants, but we do not anticipate it will be more than $3,000.
