- The different types of yeast—and when (and how) to substitute them
- When blooming yeast is necessary
- Why temperature matters in every step of bread baking
- Tips for perfect hand-kneading and how to use an Ankarsrum Assistent Stand Mixer
- Understanding gluten development
- How to overnight your dough for incredible flavor
- Time-saving tricks for achieving a quick rise when you’re short on time
You’ll bake a variety of sweet and savory breads, including Gibassier using the Tangzhong method, pizza dough, and more.
In the Bake from Scratch test kitchen, baking dreams truly come to life. Each participant will enjoy a fully equipped personal baking station, complete with your own stand mixer and oven—so you can create every recipe from start to finish with confidence and care.
