Two very special baking guests will join editor-in-chief Brian Hart Hoffman for this weekend retreat in Birmingham, Alabama. Rose Levy Beranbaum, author of the recently revised and updated The Cake Bible will bake alongside Erin Jeanne McDowell, food stylist for the 35th anniversary edition of the book and baker extraordinaire. Rose and Erin will dive deep into discussion about the process of updating this baking tome as you bake the iconic chocolate cake that graces the cover of the cookbook. Plus, Brian will share his recipe for maple-pecan bear claws, and Erin will make you fall in love with Concord grapes when you bake her Concord Grape Hand Pies. Learn baking tips and techniques from three incredible bakers, and enjoy having your own kitchen space, stand mixer, and oven in the Bake from Scratch test kitchen. Baking dreams do come true!
