Vanilla Simple Syrup

Makes about ⅓ cup

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup (60 grams) water
  • 2 tablespoons (24 grams) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (6 grams) vanilla bean paste

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, bring ¼ cup (60 grams) water and sugar to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, and stir in vanilla bean paste. Let cool completely. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
