Vanilla Simple Syrup

Makes about ⅓ cup

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup (50 grams) granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup (60 grams) water
  • 1 teaspoon (4 grams) vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, bring sugar and ¼ cup (60 grams) water to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, and let cool completely.
