Vanilla Simple Syrup

Makes about 4 cups

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups (600 gams) granulated sugar
  • 3 cups (720 grams) water
  • 2 tablespoons (26 grams) vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, bring sugar and 3 cups (720 grams) water to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Let cool completely before using. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
