Simple Syrup

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups water and 1 cup granulated sugar; cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool completely at room temperature. Refrigerate in an airtight container up to 2 weeks.
