Roasted Cherries

Makes about 2 cups

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds (908 grams) fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • 6 tablespoons (72 grams) granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with heavy-duty foil.
  • On prepared pan, toss together all ingredients until well combined.
  • Bake until fruit is soft, fragrant, and has released juices, about 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Let cool completely on pan. Serve immediately.
