Pecan Streusel
- ½ cup (63 grams) all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup (55 grams) firmly packed light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons (24 grams) granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon (1 gram) ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons (28 grams) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon (15 grams) gold rum
- ½ cup (57 grams) chopped pecans
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugars, cinnamon, and salt. Add butter and gold rum, and using your fingertips, mix until crumbly and desired consistency is reached. Mix in pecans. Refrigerate until ready to use.
